What is "personal information"?

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) defines "personal information" as information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable—whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not. If information does not identify you and cannot reasonably be used to ascertain your identity, it will usually not be personal information and will not be covered by this policy.

What information do we collect?

We may ask for further details to understand your concern. If we agree a complaint is justified, we will work with you to take appropriate steps. If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia (for example in the United States). Where that occurs, you consent to that disclosure, acknowledging that overseas handling may not always attract the same protections as Australian law and that remedies available to you may differ.

GDPR

In some circumstances, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides additional protections to individuals in the European Economic Area. The website is not specifically directed at customers in the EU, and we do not monitor behaviour of individuals in the EU as a primary activity.
